The Hidden Treasures in my Room

This is all about the half-yearly half cleaning of my half study table. Getting confused? I'll tell what all 'treasures' I found in my room when suddenly I started cleaning my desk.
In my room I have one table fully meant for studies and another one is used for half studying and other half for all pointless activities.

Here is a list of the 'valuable' things I found out.
  1. Tickets. Yes I used to collect and store bus tickets since the day I of my school (then my father used to do, now I am continuing his legacy).
  2. There were 3 half tickets... by that I mean physically only half was present. I travel by bus from home to school....
  3. A map of Kolkata that I had copied from wikimapia ages ago.
  4. A xerox which was a copy of someone's project work and I had also made it mine, but all this was in class 10, now am in 12... So 2 years back...
  5. Some rough notes (yes the numerous rough drafts) of my class 10 study materials. (I wonder why I was only finding class 10 notes. Maybe class 9 was too old or class 11, huh did I make notes then?)
  6. A long lost handkerchief.
  7. Some origami art works from the girl next door.
  8. A page containing excuses for escaping scoldings at tuitions. (In school you did not even need an excuse). All were my class 10 works.
  9. Old rubber bands which started smiling on seeing me as they were breathing fresh air after years.
  10. A rough paper which was preserved like some ancient artwork as it contained the wrong no. which I stole from my friend thinking it to be of that girl who came in my tuition and sat opposite me.
  11. Some small rough paper which were cutouts of large used copies and were supposed to be reused for rough work but remained preserved since the last time I cleaned my table.
  12. A small puzzle book which had almost been crushed to death.
  13. Two year old magazines which were bought to be read but never read.
  14. A free pass to a fest.
  15. Tracing paper and carbon paper that I used to copy my class 10 Bio pictures. In the +2 this was one of the reasons why I left Bio.
  16. Some small pictures which were not dignified enough to find itself in my projects.
  17. Xerox that was meant for studying but only dust had touched it.
  18. An used SMS card.
  19. A 'minto fresh' which I had bought for some purpose showed its manufacturing fate to me 08/08...(August 2008) and was best before 12 months. I wonder why I didn't eat that...
  20. A new copy which I had must have brought for some purpose but had ended up buying yet another one for that purpose.
  21. My school timetable which was still under the glass even though school had ended more than 2 months earlier.
  22. My school ID card which was never around my neck.
  23. Newspaper cuttings containing pointless stuff with no pictures of celebs in two-piece .
  24. Some coins which were supposed to be added to my collection.
  25. Some game CDs which I used to play way back in class 9, were lying all under my rubbish. It was not injured though.
  26. My first graph book in which I learnt how to draw graphs.
  27. My class 10 Bio notes copy which was modified to copy Chemistry notes but was used only once.
  28. I had one wooden pencil (I generally don't use the wooden ones - I use eco-friendly Camlin Nouvel Pencil) and I had a couple of sharpeners. But when I tried to sharpen the pencil, I found out that not a single sharpener was good. But I had found this out even earlier, but still had kept the sharpeners as exhibits.
  29. Paper weights that had long gone missing.
  30. A green ink pen which I had bought when I was in may be 7 or 8.
  31. A piece of chalk was peeping out at me from a corner. I wonder how it got in that hiding place.
  32. An old and used ruler with no measurements on it.
  33. Some paper clips.
  34. A penbox with no pen in it. I don't know why the box wasn't thrown away even after the pen had been broken.
  35. Some leaflets coaching institues that were handed over to us when we used to come out of our school. I never joined one but collected those leaflets to use them as rough papers.
  36. A separate 'last page of my notebook' which had my very own predictions about this world written. Becuase the first prediction was of 2100 so I don't know if they will come true.
  37. Lists of various things that were compiled and kept on my desk for future use.
  38. An empty box which once contained Nivea cream.
  39. A greetings card from the girl next door which was placed on top of every paper under a glass on my table.
  40. A list of the frequently confused oxyacid of phosphoros...
  41. A Fevi Stik which won't stick if used now. It has become teflon coated - non sticky.
  42. My geometry box which was never touched after I passed my ICSE. In the +2 when ever I required a compass, it was during the exams and I had a friend who used to bring it for me and all other forgetfuls. And yes her pencil box contained more valuables than my table!!!
  43. A blade... No you guessed it wrong. It wasn't used to cut my hand like a romeo but to cut papers for my projects.
  44. The bill of a restaurant where I had dined once upon a time. I had more records than the restaurant owner.
  45. Numerous chits containing phone numbers of some friend or teacher. All were saved in my mobile but a backup was always kept. No none were of girls as the ones who were of girls were preserved properly in some book copy.
  46. The dead body of an ant which was trying to move a dead mosquito to its kitchen.
  47. A list of the astronomical events in the year 2008. Shit I missed them all.
  48. A chit containing the my first email address and my password.
  49. A secret invisible love letter for my lady love, I only found out a blank page in which the letter was supposed to be written but actually I had written and posted in dreams.
  50. Last year's card calendars... Its end of February still I have the calendars.
  51. An inkless refill.

Now these old things were still found even after I do halfyearly clearings. I don't know why... I have thrown many unwanted things but still some are just in front of me. Am I keeping them as memoirs? Like the year and a half old Minto Fresh and all???

Aah now come on... stop thinking that all these are true... I made up some, atleast my beautiful room can't be that bad after all.
